I was a real fan of Benaziza. He was a small guy and one can imagine him deciding to initially take up bodybuilding to help compensate for his lack of inches. However, its clear he caught the iron bug and built himself a fantastically magnificent physique, creating that 'full on' muscle look but a smaller version of his fellow IFBB pros. I'm sure he has been an inspiration to smaller/shorter aspiring athletes amd also promoting bodybuilding in North Africa. I seem to recall he came to a tragic end soon after competing. Am I correct in saying it was to do with severe dehydration?
One of the few athletes to have defeated 7 time Mr Olympia (Dorian Yates).
OK it's time to make a confession. So I've been a regular follower of this blog for years but lately I've been doing something a little, erm…strange. Instead of checking out the actual posts I'm finding myself going straight to the comments section first for one reason only - to read UKmusclenut's beautifully written, brilliantly detailed, often creative and sometimes downright bloody horny comments! Here's a few goodies from the past few posts that I've particularly loved…- Your super detailed and beautifully executed fantasy of what it would be like to oil up a bodybuilder backstage! HOLY FUCK!! How bloody hot was that (spoiler alert: VERY)? - Your "Muscle Cookery" comment, and how to make a "Muscle Daddy Cookie-Cutter" (are there classes on how to make them? if so, sign me up)! LOVED that mate! Bonkers, funny, creative and just fucking plain fucking awesome!- Your thoughts on Peter Molnar!! Particularly loved the comment about the "overhanging pecs" (YES!!), the geeky/quirky, unconventionally handsome looks (perfect mate - and so so true!), and (best of all) the "cutey-wutey" (love that so much - hehe!) abdominals!!Whatever's motivating you to write these comments mate - keep on doing it!! I absolutely love reading them, and looking at the other comments/replies, I’m not the only one!
I feel SO FLATTERED to get this message from you MA, whose muscle writing I've admired and enjoyed reading for a good few years now and for all the same reasons as what you said about mine..thank you. I know you like a midwinter break from Muscle Addicts Inc, but whilst you've been away on your holidays, I've gone bloody daft on WWBs brilliant blog, posting my comments and observations almost daily. It is such an infectious thing to do, especially as it appears my comments have been enjoyed by several of the other guys, (and their replies are also greatly valued). I'm not a natural writer, as it takes time for me to hammer a piece into shape, especially when it can't ramble on to much. But hey! January nights are long, dark and can be tedious, so for me its a pleasure to ogle some hot muscle pics and then think of something to say about them. I suppose the fact of the matter is that I am quite literally besotted and totally inspired by muscle, so it's motivating me to write, especially if I identify something quirkily related to the main thrust of the dialogue. I just hope I don't dry up! I'm particularly pleased you liked the one about oiling up a muscle monster. I was concerned that the story was getting too long and flabby, so I stopped before finishing it...still need to oil up his huge pecs, abs, legs and ass, especially working around his posers (never fear MA, they'll definitely be a shiny pair ;)! What you said has really spurred me to get on with another section. Cheers mate.

Bless you matie! I was slightly worried I'd gone a bit OTT in my last comment but obviously not - hehe! ;) Well I for one am definitely glad you've gone a bit crazy with the comments of late - and I'm enjoying reading all the interaction with some of the other awesome posters here too (many I know from commenting on my blog)! I should make more effort to chip in myself (I kept meaning to comment on the Molnar post but I left it a bit late)! And thanks for the lovely words about my writing too. It's funny - I've never really thought about it but I guess muscle inspires me to write too! As for your absurdly bloody hot oiling up posts - keep going mate!! I wrote a story not long ago and one part saw two muscle addicts oiling up a competition conditioned bodybuilder but it wasn't anywhere near as hot as what you've written here! And fuck YES to the shiny posers (you really do follow my blog don't you mate - hehe)!!
UKMusclenut....according to wikipedia Mohammed died in 1992. "It is reported that he had earlier complained of sickness and shortness of breath, but refused several times to go to a hospital. It is believed that the cause of his death was that he took an injection provided by an unidentified man to accelerate the process of his preparation shortly before the competition. His death led to the end of the career of his personal friend Steve Brisbois. Benaziza was 33 years old and was the star-spin of the new generation of BodyBuilders."

The first muscular martyr died at the height of his career. Very sad this man's story!
Bodybuilding is seen by many poor boys in the Middle East and North Africa as an outlet for the difficult life they lead and also as a way to disguise the latent and doomed homosexuality found in these regions. Something very complicated to explain.
You're doing a good job, please tell us more... Thank you.
